Mariah’s film career was elevated leaps and bounds for her performance in Precious. It basically erased any memories of Glitter in the heads of casting agents.

Too bad Mariah embarrasses herself accepting an award while drunk at the Palm Springs International Film Festival which is actually an important film festival. It just starts to get really awkward right when it cuts out.

Director Lee Daniels escorted the unsteady MC to the stage and watched in awe as she stumbled through her words, giggled with the audience and hinted that she’d too much to drink.

She looked to the ceiling, sighed and said, "Please forgive me, because I'm a little bit, um ..." An audience member finished the sentence for her with an obscenity, to which Carey replied, "Yeah!" adding a long, hearty laugh. "Oooooooh, my goodness!" she bellowed.

For the next few minutes, Carey rambled on about things related to "Push," and spontaneously burst into applause. "Sorry," she told Daniels. "Sometimes I get a little ..." Carey then stopped cold to snap her fingers, then added "... you know, difficult." And then she giggled again.

Fuhh...what a shamed...

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ Bad Boy Films is among the defendants in a copyright lawsuit filed by billboard model Angelyne.

The model filed a copyright infringement lawsuit yesterday (January 4) in the U.S. District Court of Los Angeles.

Angelyne claims that the makers of the film “Notorious” about the life of Christopher “Notorious B.I.G.” Wallace, used her image in the movie without her consent.

In the complaint it says, “At no time has Angelyne authorized any of the defendants to reproduce, adapt or distribute any image containing her copyrighted billboard for use in the ‘Notorious’ motion picture.”

Because of the movie’s unlawful use of her billboard, she says she has suffered “loss of reputation and standing in the community.”

Angelyne, a so called "billboard queen," is famous in Hollywood for buying her own billboards and putting pictures of herself on them.

Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves Welcome Baby

Matthew McConaughey doesn't need a reason to tear off his shirt and play his bongos in celebration of life.

Matthew McConaughey and Camila Alves welcomed their second child, who joins big brother Levi, 17 months, reports People.com. Details regarding the gender and size of the baby are unavailable at this time.

Of his new bundle of joy, Matt wrote, ““New Year and New Baby! Happy New Year everybody!!! Vida is Portuguese for ‘life’ and that’s what God gave us this morning. Camila’s recovering wonderfully and we are both truly honored to welcome this little lady into our family. Thanks for all your well wishes and prayers along the way. Another blessed day, we give thanks, just keep livin’. Matthew and Camila.”

McConaughey, 40, and Alves, 26, who began dating in 2006, chose not to find out the sex of the before delivery, just as they did with Levi.

Regular guest star on the Discovery channel show, Mythbusters, Erik Gates has died after falling 30ft. He was 47.

 He was walking on the roof of the Xirrus Inc Building at 2101 Corporate Center Drive in Newburry Park with his friend when the accident happened.Erik fall off the building and dropped 30 feet. He died of blunt force injuries to the chest.

The fall occurred around 3:30 p.m. Sunday. Afterward, Gates was alive and talking at the scene, Ventura County Sheriff’s Capt.. Ross Bonfiglio said. Gates was taken to Los Robles Hospital & Medical Center, where he died from his injuries.

Gates guest starred on the popular show Mythbusters four times from 2003-2005 as their "amature rocket expert". He was very interested in rocketry and even had his own website, Gates Brother Rockety, dedicated to the his hobby.

Details are emerging in the alleged domestic dispute that resulted in the Christmas Day arrest of Charlie Sheen in Aspen, CO.

"The Insider" has obtained the Aspen Police Department affidavit in support of warrantless arrest in which the police report that Sheen's wife Brooke Mueller claimed that "It's happened before" and that Sheen told the responding officer that Mueller threatened to divorce him and take the children.

Officer Rick Magnuson says Sheen told him that the couple began arguing at 3:30 in the morning, about five hours before a 911 call was placed, and that the catalyst of the argument stemmed from a song that Sheen shared with his daughter, "whom he fathered with another woman," and that Mueller "was jealous of this relationship with the daughter."

Mueller Said, Sheen held her down on a bed and threatened to cut her throat with a switchblade. "You better be in fear," she quoted Sheen. "If you tell anybody, I'll kill you."

According to the report, Mueller had red marks on the upper part of the front of her neck that she claimed were caused by Sheen and demonstrated how he held a knife to her throat on the bed and said that she feared for her life.

Following Sheen’s arrest, Judge James Boyd issued a temporary restraining order keeping the actor away from Mueller  . He faces possible charges including second degree assault, a class four felony; menacing, a class five felony; and criminal mischief, a class one misdemeanor.

Former American Idol champ Carrie Underwood got an early Christmas present over the weekend  a marriage proposal!. She's engaged to be married to boyfriend Mike Fisher.

“I’m happy to confirm that Carrie Underwood is engaged to Mike Fisher, and the couple couldn’t be happier,” Carrie’s rep said in a press release issued Monday. “No wedding date has been set at this time.”

 While the details of the engagement have not been confirmed, sources are reporting that Fisher popped the question at his home yesterday surrounded by Carrie's family and friends. No wedding date has been sent for the country star and professional hockey player.

Carrie and Mike have been dating for close to a year. The athlete, 29, reportedly popped the question to the Nashville-based songbird in his native Canada on Sunday.

Congrats to Carrie and Mike!
