Lately the modeling world has delivered nothing but disappointed news and... babies (lots of babies?); however, just weeks after the unfortunate news that negative bloggers drove Aussie supermodel Gemma Ward to retire.....she’s baaaaaaack.
“I have not ‘quit modeling’,” Ward told The West Australian newspaper. “And, my fans back home can expect to see me back at work modeling and acting in the new year.” Um, hello... the new years is just one month away!
Some public figures who appreciate Ward for the true ‘gem’ that she is, are designers Sadie Frost (mother of Jude Law’s children) and Jemima French. They were looking for a ‘real girl’ to be the face of their newly revamped line FrostFrench and feel that Gemma is the perfect choice, no treadmills or dieting necessary. They want her... and they want her now! The dynamic duo have their eyes set on Gemma and are willing to do whatever it takes to get her on board. The one thing that they do ask? Is that she STAYS at her current weight. They want the face of their line to be beautiful, yet relatable and feel that she looks absolutely stunning and healthy right now. The talented ladies don’t want to wait for Ward to lose any weight or decide to formally make her return to modeling. If this happens... it will be soon! FrostFrench just opened up their second location in London’s Soho district and feel that this is the ideal time to seal the deal with the Australian beauty. FrostFrench’s runways have seen the likes of Kate Moss initiating a sultry striptease and Liberty Ross working a trapeze. Now it only seems fair to give Gemma Ward her chance to shine, right?
