It’s finally happened. The world’s very first super-baby is on it’s way. The news has recently been confirmed that the hottest supermodel on the planet, Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen, and three-time Super Bowl champion quarterback Tom Brady are combining their flawless genetics to create perfection!
It’s just like that high school cliche where the star quarterback dates the cheerleader, only better, because the cheerleader happens to be a 5’10” Brazilian Victoria’s Secret Angel.
The married couple have continued to deny rumors about having a baby on the way, but after Gisele appeared on the catwalk in her native country of Brazil for the recent Colcci Fashion Show displaying much more than a stylish outfit. Underneath the cream-colored knit top and numerous long hanging necklaces appeared to be what looked very much like a baby bump. The usually incredibly slender Gisele, was definitely looking much curvier.
Gisele was recently quoted saying, “I think family is the base to everything. I think that is one of the things I’m most grateful for. I have a lot to be grateful for, but I think that’s definitely number one.”
The news comes just months after controversy sparked regarding Gisele’s most-recent interview withVanity Fair magazine. She was quoted talking about her step-son John saying, “It’s not like because someone else delivered him that it’s not my child. I feel it is, 100%. I want him to have a great relationship with his mom, but I love him the same way as if he were mine.”
Sources close to the couple have reportedly said that the couple are expecting their first child early next year. Although many may worry that having a baby may mean the end of Gisele’s modeling career, you have nothing to worry about. After all, fellow Victoria’s Secret Angel Heidi Klum has bounced-back from the wonderful world of motherhood not once, not twice, but three times, and is also set to give birth again in the near future.
Models amaze us everyday with how amazing they look with their seemingly perfect bikini bodies, but what really is astonishing is just how quickly they get back in shape after giving birth. It seems to be the ‘Year of the Victoria’s Secret Angel Babies’ with Gisele, Adriana Lima, and Heidi Klum all set to give birth sometime between the end of the year and early 2010.
Many working supermodels are also working mothers, some even credit their slim physiques to the workout that comes along with being a mom to young children.
Russian born supermodel Natalia Vodianova, 27, spends her time in between shooting editorials for W Magazine and British Vogue chasing after her three children: Alexander (7), Neva (3), and Viktor (1). After having her first son back in 2001, Natalia’s career took off the following year. Many warned her and were concerned that having a child would ruin her career, but she kept positive and spent the year of 2002 signing a fragrance contract with Gucci, opening the fall show for Yves Saint Laurent, appearing on covers for i-D Magazine, W Magazine, Italian Vogue, and becoming the face of Louis Vuitton’s spring campaign. Since having baby number three she has reappeared on the cover of British Vogue, French Vogue, W Magazine, Vogue, Italian Vogue, Japanese Numero, and walking in shows for Calvin Klein, Valentino, Chanel, Givency, Yves Saint Laurent, and Balenciaga. Not bad…
Already having the title of supermodel, being a co-host on the fashion design reality show Project Runway, having her own jewelry line, being a Victoria’s Secret Angel, a cover girl for Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition, British GQ’s women of the year, and guest-starring in numerous television shows and making cameos in numerous movies including 2006’s fashion hit Devil Wears Prada, still was not enough for Heidi Klum. She is now looking for the official title of “Super Mom” and with baby number four with husband Seal on the way, she is about to be crowned. No matter how many babies Heidi has, she always still manages to squeeze back into her itty bitty bikinis seemingly over night! After having her third child Johan, Heidi appeared on the cover of W Magazine the following month! She is truly “super” in every sense of the word.
After giving birth to Anja Louise in August of 2008, Alessandra Ambrosio put her signature Victoria’s Secret wings back on and worked the runway just three months later!! Looking every bit as fabulous as always, it was almost impossible to believe that she ever even had a child at all, let alone just months ago! Since giving birth not even a year ago Alessandra has been on the cover of British GQ, and British Marie Claire.
Since giving birth to her daughter Lila Grace back back in 2002, Kate Moss has had just as successful of a career as she did before entering motherhood. The British beauty appeared in a music video for The White Stripes’, “I Just Don’t Know What to Do With Myself”, directed by legendary director Sophia Coppola, just months after giving birth. She has signed onto campaigns for make-up line Rimmel, Yves Saint Laurent fragrance Opium, Chanel, Missoni, Burberry, Christian Dior, Virgin Mobile, Belstaff, Longchamp, Louis Vuitton, Roberto Cavalli, Stella McCartney, Bvlgari, Nikon, Agent Provocateur, and Versace, appeared on countless magazine covers for top fashion magazines and launched her own line for the trendy boutique TopShop.
