For being only 18-years-old, Jourdan Dunn has certainly come a long way in the modeling world. 

After being discovered while shopping with a friend in her hometown near London, England, Jourdan was signed with Storm Management in London, and eventually Women Management. 

A huge goal of hers was to equalize race among the fashion industry. As fashion continues to evolve, she wanted the sizes, shapes and ethnicities, to do the same.

Jourdan was signed on as the first black woman to walk for Prada in over 10 years.

She was appearing on magazines throughout the world...

It really seemed like she was going somewhere and staying true to her statement. 

It was recently announced, just days ago, that Jourdan Dunn and her boyfriend of nearly a year are expecting a child. She is only 18-years-old.

Many are beginning to wonder whether or not this will jeopardize Jourdan's reputation?

Will she become ridiculed or a stereotype?

Or will she defy odds and bounce back just as Heidi Klum has with the past three kids, raise her child, and maintain a healthy relationship?
