I'm Sure This Is How Dirty Dirk Got Down Last Night
Probably was knee deep in skanks and scallywags till early this morning. Think about how tall Dirk is. That is a lot of skanks and scallywags. His knee deep is probably your life goal. Just punking the shit out of your p game. Man I hope some drunken Dirk videos or pics pop up. Why? Because I will probably never be lucky enough to party with Dirk, but if I could just see some more drunk videos or pics after this victory I would be partially satisfied. Help me out internet.

I've Already Ordered This Championship Mavs Hat Because It Completes Me
No I wasn't a dumbass and I didn't pay $79.99 on nbastore.com for the stupid package deal. I went on ebay and just bought the hat by itself for 20 bucks. And hopefully I'll have enough time to do a good recap on the mavs tomorrow, but for now I will just leave you the image of champions in a championship hat.
Go mavs.

Dirk Did It Raw Dog Style In OKC Last Night
From ESPN.com:
OKLAHOMA CITY -- Dirk Nowitzki scored 40 points, Jason Kidd hit the go-ahead 3-pointer with 40 seconds left in overtime and the Dallas Mavericks overcame a 15-point deficit in the final 5 minutes of regulation to stun the Oklahoma City Thunder 112-105 on Monday night and take a 3-1 lead in the Western Conference finals.
Dallas didn't lead until Nowitzki hit two free throws 16 seconds into overtime, needing to rally from a 99-84 deficit in the final 5 minutes of regulation. The Mavericks never let the Thunder -- who were one win shy of tying an NBA record with eight OT wins in the regular season -- go ahead in the extra period.

Great game to watch. I'll admit I was fed up in the fourth quarter, but when Dirk turned it on, I realized that I was witnessing a great legend. A tall German child who doesn't understand that you're supposed to be balanced when shooting, and that people don't make shots off one leg like that. Great game by Jason Kidd as well. Yeah, some times he seemed a little to eager to get a pass off when he should have just drove to basket, but his defense in the last minutes of the game and his three point shooting were clutch to say the least. Marion also had pretty good defense and Barea.... well sometimes your shit's gonna get packed when you're 5 foot nothing. And while at first I thought then no one could actually hate the Thunder, tonight made me thing different. I felt like I was watching a god damn soccer match. I've never seen so many flops and dives. Like every other play one of them would fall over like a pussy when no one even touched them, and the refs were just eating it up. Kevin Durant really didn't do it that much, but the rest of the team did and that's just not fun to watch. I don't like soccer or pussies who bitch and moan and flail around on the ground. That's some weak ass shit. Fuck you Thunder. How's that Dirk taste.

I'm Not Sure What To Think Of This Dirk/Moses Video...

Hey LA, Hows Our Dirk Taste?
From ESPN:
DALLAS – The pair of All-Star power forwards has been the biggest mismatch in the series.Dirk Nowitzki has simply dominated Pau Gasol.
Nowitzki has been the best player in the series, averaging 28.0 points on 56 percent shooting while playing such tough defense that Lakers coach Phil Jackson complained Saturday about the Mavs being allowed too many physical liberties while guarding Gasol in the post. Gasol, the primary scapegoat in the series, is averaging 13.3 points on 43 percent shooting.
Gasol acknowledges that he needs to snap out of a mental funk, but he also gives ample credit to his fellow European 7-footer.
“He’s just in a great groove right now,” Gasol said. “This is the best I’ve seen him play in his career, to be honest with you. He’s in a great rhythm, great confidence and he’s playing really well. He’s shooting extremely well and confidently. You can’t take anything away from that.”
Only one problem with that comment from Gasol: Of all people, he should know this isn’t an especially spectacular playoff series by Nowitzki’s standards.
After all, this isn’t the first time Dirk dominated Gasol in a playoff series. It happened in the first round five years ago, when Nowitzki averaged 31.3 points during a sweep of Gasol’sMemphis Grizzlies.
Gasol owns two rings, but the head-to-head playoff matchups with Nowitzki eliminates any doubt about which power forward wears the crown as the best European to ever play in the NBA. Just look at the numbers from those seven meetings.
I fucking love it. Mavs completely embarrassing the 2-time defending champs. Not only that but Dirk has mind fucked the shit out of Pau Gasol. The German is humiliating the sorry ass Spaniard on all levels. The stats don’t lie, its like Gasol has forgotten how to play the game. Dirk PPG is twice as much as Pau and outperforming him on the boards and in shooting percentage. Whatever Gasol can do Dirk can do better. Bravo Dirk, you continue to get dicks hard and bitchs wet with your off balance goofy ass fade away jumper. Bring on the Thunder because this shit is over no matter what the Black Mamba says. How badass would it be if we got the Heat in the finals? Paybacks a bitch to DWade and his new super hero friends. At least Pau can go back to being a surgeon.
Thanks to B-Dick for the post.

No Western Conference Team Has Held Kobe To Fewer Points Than The Mavs
From ESPN.com:
DALLAS -- No Western Conference team has held Kobe Bryant to a lower scoring average this season than the Dallas Mavericks.
Kobe averaged 21.7 points in three games against the Mavs, and his 40.7 shooting percentage, well below his 45.1 percent season average, was fourth-lowest against the Mavs among West clubs.
Is that a credit to a defense that has deployed DeShawn Stevenson, Shawn Marion, Jason Kidd and even Rodrigue Beaubois on the five-time champ, or was it just fluky?
"Maybe he just didn't want to shoot those nights," Kidd said, jokingly. "Holding him to 40 percent or under his average, the bottom line is he finds a way for his team to win."
Kidd's theory actually isn't too far off base. Kobe attempted 59 regular-season shots against the Mavs, an average of 19.7 a game, which was his second-lowest number of attempts against teams he faced at least three times. He took 53 shots in three games against the Oklahoma City Thunder but took no fewer than 69 shots against other foes faced at least three times.
Again, is that a credit to the Mavs' defense, or is it just fluky?
"At this point, all this stuff, it's a clean slate, it really doesn't matter," Mavs coach Rick Carlisle said. "How relevant it is, I don't know. There are different things that come into play in the regular season. You've got back-to-backs and injuries and all kinds of other stuff. This is a clean slate, and we're ready to go."
There is more statistical evidence to suggest the Mavs have done as good a job on Bryant as just about anyone in the league. Bryant ranked second in the NBA in transition points, but he averaged more shots in isolation against the Mavs than he did against the rest of the league, and he made a lower percentage of those isolation shots against Dallas than against the rest of the league.
According ESPN Stats & Information, Bryant's field goal percentage on isolation plays against the Mavs was 37.5 percent compared to 44.3 percent against the rest of the league, which ranks fourth in the NBA. Continuing on that theme, Bryant averaged just 4.3 points on shots from 15 feet or more against Dallas, less than half his season average (8.7), and he made just 22 percent on those shots, well below his season average of 36.3 percent.
Again, credit to the defense or fluky? Kidd just knows what the Mavs face starting Monday night at Staples Center.
"We look for him to be aggressive," Kidd said. "He's the best player in the game, so we've got our hands full."
There you have it. Fluke or no fluke, when it's Kobe against Mavs, Mavs WIN. Now cue the Dirk Nowitzki.
