For eight seasons, Norris brought justice to Texas as Walker, Texas Ranger. The series, and Norris, got an additional boost when Conan O'Brian introduced his "Walker, Texas Ranger lever" to Late Night, displaying the most insane moments from that show completely out of context.

Norris got additional fame in today's generation for various crazy Internet 'facts' posted about his power. Norris has risen to the level of superman by killing two stones with one bird, staring down books for facts, scaring outer space, and much more, according to the facts.

Norris has also lent his power to campaigning for Republicans like George H.W. Bush and Mike Huckabee. Norris was even credited for "making" Huckabee when it looked like he might win the nomination - mostly by Conan O'Brian, who was trying to claim Huckabee himself. He even saved the day for Vince Vaughn at the end of Dodgeball.

Jimmy Boyd dies at 70

The former child singer,Jimmy Boyd, a singer best known for recording the Christmas novelty hit “I Saw Mommy Kissing Santa Claus” in 1952 when he was 13, died Saturday. He was 70.

Boyd, who also was a child actor, died of cancer at a Santa Monica convalescent hospital, said Eleanor Pillsbury, a longtime friend.

Three weeks after the yuletide kiss-and-tell was released, the song was No. 1 on the Billboard charts. It sold 2 million records in less than 10 weeks.

It has been interpreted by such artists as the Jackson 5, John Mellencamp and Amy Winehouse. Molly Bee was also 13 when she later had a hit warbling about the unlikely pair kissing "underneath the mistletoe last night." Bee died last month at 69.

However,the Catholic Church condemned the song for implying even a tenuous link between sex and the religious holiday, and radio stations in several markets banned it. The ban was lifted after the 13-year-old Boyd appeared before church leaders to talk about the lyrics.

He was born dirt-poor in a shack in McComb, Miss., on Jan. 9, 1939, to Leslie and Winnie Boyd. His father, Leslie, was a carpenter from a big musical family -- Boyd's grandfather was known in Mississippi as Fiddler Bill and had 21 children, Pillsbury confirmed.

At 4, Boyd started playing the guitar. He grew up on a ranch near the San Fernando Valley. While at a country-western dance in a Colton barn, the 7-year-old was called on stage to sing with Texas Jim Lewis' troupe. Boyd was soon regularly appearing with the band in shows that were broadcast on the radio.

His recording career essentially lasted until 1967 and encompassed such hits as "Dennis the Menace," sung with Rosemary Clooney, and several duets with Frankie Laine, including "The Little Boy and the Old Man," "Poor Little Piggy Bank" and "Tell Me a Story."

On television, Boyd made several appearances on "The Ed Sullivan Show" in the early 1950s and moved into acting. From 1958 to 1961, he portrayed Howard Meechim, the high school boyfriend on "Bachelor Father," a sitcom that starred John Forsythe and Noreen Corcoran. He also played the teenage nephew of Betty White's character on "Date with the Angels," a late-1950s sitcom.

Soon after marrying, Boyd was drafted into the Army and later performed in two USO shows in Vietnam. For several years, he toured the U.S. in his own music and comedy show.

He was an avid tennis player until he discovered sailing, Pillsbury said, and for years lived in Marina del Rey on a sailboat he named Unplugged.

He is survived by a son, Devon James Boyd, 28.

Dancing With the Stars Returns

Celebrity toes resumed twinkling tonight as Dancing With the Stars kicked off its eighth season and, despite the desperately random assortment of said stars, this has the makings of a good go-around.

This barely begun season has already witnessed the premature exit of two injured stars—Nancy O'Dell and Jewel—and the last-minute arrival of their replacements—Girls Next Door babe Holly Madison and extra-burned Bachelor castoff Melissa Rycroft. Not to mention half the pros are dancing on surgically repaired joints and Hollywood newcomer Gilles Marini has tendinitis in his groin.

The ballroom also welcomed two new pros, the show's youngest-ever contestant, its first already established star-pro couple and a pair of newly engaged DWTS veterans.

As Bruno Tonioli would say... Actually, he'd say something gross, so we're just going to recap tonight's performances:

Lil Kim: The raunchy rapper, who revealed that she first started watching DWTS while in prison, has rhythm and her cha-cha with defending champ Derek Hough got the night off to a very saucy—and technically sound—start. She needs polish but has major potential. "You can work wonders with that tushy!" Bruno offered, while head judge Len Goodman called the performance "first class."

Belinda Carlisle: The former Go-Go's frontwoman looked lovely, but, according to her debut waltz with Jonathan Roberts, she's missing the inherent grace possessed by past elder stateswomen such as Jane Seymour and Priscilla Presley. There certainly weren't any Cloris Leachman moments, as Bruno suggested, but the 50-year-old still needs to get that beat back, pronto.

Lawrence Taylor: He might have been wearing Emmit Smith's cha-cha outfit, but the 50-year-old NFL Hall of Famer isn't quite disco ball material yet. Not that he needed to be, what with Edyta Sliwinska returning in fine scantily clad form after last season's one-and-done appearance with Jeff Ross. But as Len noted, there's a "naturalness" about Taylor.

Steve-O: The former Jackass player didn't exactly stick his foot "up the waltz's butt," but he didn't suck too hard, either. Let's just say Lacey Schwimmer has her work cut out for her, but if anyone can cover up someone's rough edges with edgy choreography, she can.

Gilles Marini: Turns out Sex and the City's Samantha would have done well to visit her naked neighbor. The 33-year-old Frenchman, who quite literally flashed into American theaters last summer, is a frontrunner at this point, as far as raw talent is concerned. He's rough around the edges, but his cha-cha was the best of the bunch. And, for the record, Cheryl Burke looks great.

Chuck Wicks: The 29-year-old country singer is the first star to join the show having already seduced his pro partner. Julianne Hough's easy-on-the-eyes boyfriend showed a lot of potential, waltzing his girlfriend around the ballroom with relative ease, although his desire to impress her—and make her laugh during rehearsals—could make for a rough ride behind the scenes.

Holly Madison: DWTS first-timer Dmitry Chaplin certainly didn't need to whip his Playboy Playmate partner into shape for the challenge. Holly's lovely limbs, spray-tanned to perfection, could serve her well eventually, but tonight's cha-cha proved that a week's practice just ain't enough.

Ty Murray: Well, Jewel wouldn't have had to worry about her hubby wrangling the title away from her. The rodeo cowboy gave his cha-cha a go, and his aw-shucks demeanor is very charming, but newcomer Chelsie Hightower is probably going to have a very short debut season.

Shawn Johnson: Girl knows how to compete. The Olympic gymnast, fresh off a four-medal performance in Beijing and the youngest-ever DWTS competitor at 17, has the potential to add a disco ball to her trophy case. Her waltz was graceful—"surprisingly refined," Bruno called it—and she partners well with the boyishly handsome Mark Ballas (who, after all, is only 22).

Steve Wozniak: It is possible for the billionaire entrepreneur to win this season. It would require free iPods suddenly appearing in mailboxes across the U.S., but still... Anyway, Karina Smirnoff had her man suited up to be the clown, trotting him out for the cha-cha in a pink boa, but unless Wozniak's minions find a way to hack the database, the likable Apple Computer cofounder probably won't last too long.

David Alan Grier: The comedian was likable but forgettable, his waltz—and his face—being neither here nor there. "One character will suffice," Bruno advised, referring to Grier's constantly shifting facial expressions. The In Living Color star couldn't even get a break from former Fly Girl Carrie Ann Inaba, who docked him a point for lifting both of Kym Johnson's feet off the ground.

Denise Richards: She was the first to cry during rehearsal this season, but the actress rebounded nicely, minus that limp left arm. Going for Richards already are her flexibility, killer bod and fan-favorite partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Not great are those nerves, which she needs to shake. "You've got it all, but you don't know what to do with it!" exclaimed Bruno.

Melissa Rycroft: OK, we'll say it... Suck it, Jason Mesnick. A week after being ceremoniously dumped on national TV (thanks, producers, for replaying the moment tonight), in a snazzy bit of ABC synergy the former Dallas Cowboys cheerleader made a triumphant return to prime time. Her promising waltz, combined with all the good will she's acquired (standing ovation, anyone?), means Tony Dovolani finally has a shot at the title.

Wow, so much to think about. The 13 contestants will dance again next Monday and this week's scores and votes will be combined with next week's before the season's first elimination show on Tuesday, March 17.

Meanwhile,Olympic Gold Medalist Shawn Johnson says she won’t need a lucky charm when she competes on “Dancing with the Stars.”"I don’t believe in lucky charms,” she tells “The Insider.” “I have never had one and I probably never will. I am my lucky charm.”The 17-year-old, who is the youngest-ever competitor on the hit ABC series, is having a scary day when “The Insider” visits her rehearsal. Her professional partner, Mark Ballas is teaching her the salsa and it is her most difficult dance to date.

“The scary part is letting myself go,” she admits.But other than her bout of nerves, Shawn is doing great. To date, she has experienced no injuries. Of course, her Olympic gymnastic training requires similar intense training, so the fact that she and Mark are in the rehearsal hall five hours a day is not as big a strain on her as it is with others. But that is where the similarity ends.

“It is all new to me,” she adds. “When you go outside your comfort zone, it is hard to get adjusted, but Mark is helping me.”Another first for Shawn was walking the red carpet at the premiere of the ‘Jonas Brothers: The 3D Concert Experience.’ She tells “The Insider” that she is single, so while she didn’t bring a boyfriend, Mark walked the red carpet with his girlfriend, former “American Idol” contestant Joanna Pacitti.

This is totally distracting. It seemed like yesterday when Adam Lambert got this much praise on American Idol, with his performance of that Rolling Stones track compelling Randy Jackson to compare him to Twilight's Robert Pattinson. And, as he found himself a spot on the Top 12, people online started wondering whether he could be the “next Edward Cullen,” probably because of his looks, and probably because of his singing, although his voice is obviously much screechier than Robert's.

And then, boom—photos of him kissing other guys come out. I'm sorry, but I think those people have lost themselves future vampire material.

The blogosphere has been buzzing over photos of the theater queen—I mean veteran—macking with another dude. The photos surfaced on internet and several outlets have picked up the story, breathlessly wondering if Lambert is gay. Well, he did choose Cher’s “Believe” as one of the first songs to sing. I’m just saying.

Anyway, in several photos Lambert’s dressed very much like David Bowie circa his Ziggy Stardust days. Another shows him in drag. Other photos show him glamming it up at the annual Burning Man event in the California desert. The guy he’s with has been identified only as Brad, and the couple already are being called “Bradam.”

This definitely doesn't qualify as an “Idol” scandal, no matter how much some sites, like one that calls the photos “depravity,” might claim it does. Seriously, who hasn't dressed in drag or kissed a boy? I say go for it. Hopefully Lambert will let it all hang out in his performances as well. I just hope voters don't get their shorts in a twist over this. The competition's about singing, not mingling.

Another Lambert rumor is more troubling, though. Celeb news site GossipSauce claims Lambert and judge Randy Jackson were spotted having dinner at Hollywood eatery Katsuya last Tuesday, the night before Lambert sang for his Top 12 spot. Jackson’s publicist shot down the report as “absolutely untrue.”

“Randy did not have dinner with Adam Lambert,” the publicist told Entertainment Weekly. “He ran into him as he was leaving the restaurant.”

I'll keep my eye open for updates on this news, but it seems to have been put to bed already.

A former contestant on Sharon Osbourne's "Rock of Love Charm School" has sued over an altercation with Osbourne during an episode of the VH1 show for pulling her hair out during a reality show about etiquette.

Megan Hauserman,29 suit filed on Monday in Los Angeles claims battery, negligence and intentional infliction of emotional distress. She seeks a jury trial and punitive damages.

The December incident can be seen on VH1's Web site billed as "Sharon and Megan's big fight." In the video, the women exchange insults, Osbourne pours a drink on Hauserman and then the two are surrounded by a rush of people.

Hauserman was a guest on the television show on December 13 when Osbourne attacked her by pulling her "hair out of her head" and scratching her, forcing Hauserman to seek care at a hospital, according to the lawsuit.

The incident aired on VH1 in January and took place after the two women traded insults over Ozzy Osbourne.

Osbourne's representatives were not available to comment.

On the show, Osbourne served as a headmistress to former contestants from another reality series, "Rock of Love," who after competing for rock singer Bret Michaels' affections get lessons from Osbourne in etiquette and moderation.

Hauserman's lawsuit accuses Osbourne of battery and emotional distress and seeks unspecified damages, money for loss of income and medical costs.

Osbourne, 56, is a fixture of reality TV, and has appeared as a judge on the show "America's Got Talent" and British show "The X Factor," as well as a show that depicts her life as the wife of heavy metal icon Ozzy Osbourne.

All eyes are on Jason Mesnick ever since he fell short of winning The Bachelorette when DeAnna Pappas chose Jesse Csincsak over him. And as the star of The Bachelor, his life has become an open book even more, with fans and critics digging up every morsel of information they can to learn more about this Ohio native. But before witnessing his love escapes on The Bachelor, we already know quite a bit about his background. Hilary Madison Wynn, supposedly the new name of Hilary Buckholz-Monrean, is the ex-wife of Jason and mother of three-year-old Ty. She's a model who lives in Seattle, Washington, and now aspires to become a fashion designer. “I am looking forward to meeting more people involved in the fashion culture,” the 29-year-old model wrote on her modeling page. “I have done some runway modeling, shot a music video, a couple photo shoots and am currently in school to become a fashion designer. As mentioned, the former Mrs. Mesnick also stars in “Happy,” a music video for Seattle rock band Out From Underneath. Ironically, one scene features Hilary taking off a wedding ring and throwing it at her love interest. It also lands on a bed of red rose petals.

Now that Jason has seemingly moved on with his life and has found love yet again on reality TV, there's really no need to put the spot light on Hilary. However, it would be interesting to see how the winner of Bachelor 13 compares to the former Mrs. Mesnick. Did Jason make a huge mistake letting this one go? Or is he better off without her?
