Should fashion tycoons Jack McCollough and Larazo Hernandez of Proenza be a little worried that a wack-job like Courtney love seems to be lost-in-fashionation at the site of their 2010 line?
Possibly.. at least they had current leading fashion-enthusiasts like Leighton Meester, Rachel McAdams and Anna Wintour in attendance as well, and wearing their designs, of course.
There were zippers, buttons, tie-dye, feathers, tinsel were all there to accessorize the tailored blazers, empire-waist skirts and dresses that were fit to perfection. It was all provocative, edgy and incredibly 'springy'.
Animal prints and brighter than normal color palettes were also used on this rather unexpected collection leaving designers, buyers and editors delightfully pleased.
My favorite? I have to admit that I was a huge fan of the lingerie-inspired cocktail dresses, which were an accumulation of both sass and ladylike charm.
