Take A Second Out Of Your Day To Pray For Nolan Ryan

From ESPN:

Texas Rangers president and CEO Nolan Ryan has been hospitalized in Houston and will undergo tests for what's believed to be a recurrence of a previous heart condition, the team said Monday.

Ryan, a member of the Baseball Hall of Fame, was hospitalized after experiencing discomfort early Sunday morning at his home. He will have tests on Monday.
According to the team, Ryan is resting comfortably, says he's feeling better and is expected to be released from the hospital in a few days.

Ryan had a double-bypass operation in 2000 and has a family history of heart disease.
Ryan is a Hall of Famer who has the record for most no-hitters (seven) and strikeouts (5,714).
Ryan, 64, added CEO to his title of president after former managing general partner Chuck Greenberg's departure in March. The Hall of Famer was named club president on Feb. 6, 2008, by previous owner Tom Hicks and has helped oversee the business and baseball operations of the organization. He became an owner of the team last August, when the club was purchased by Rangers Baseball Express in an auction in bankruptcy court.

Ryan was scheduled to join the team in Anaheim for a three-game series starting Tuesday. He was expected to throw out the first pitch that night as part of the Angels' Hall of Fame inductions, which this year include the late Gene Autry, the original owner of the team. Ryan was inducted into the club's Hall of Fame in 1992 and was to accept his Hall of Fame ring as well.

Son of a bitch ESPN. Are you kidding me? Might as well say "Nolan Ryan: survived by his wife, kids, Ron Washington and suicidal Ranger fans. He's not dead. So stop writing fucking articles like obituaries and go knock on some serious wood cause that is some jinksed bullshit if I've ever heard it. Nolan's still got many years on this earth and many more accomplishments to add before his days are over.
