Josh Hamilton Out For 6-8 Weeks

From the Dallas News:
Rangers general manager Jon Daniels announced during an early-evening conference call that outfielder Josh Hamilton will miss the next six to eight weeks after suffering a small, non-displaced fracture of the humerus bone in his right arm.
Hamilton will go on the disabled list, and Chris Davis will take his place on the roster. Daniels said that David Murphy will become the Rangers' starter in left field while Hamilton is out. Though Hamilton can start swinging a bat again in four weeks, the Rangers are preparing for him to miss eight weeks.

Well it's a good thing that we are fucking stacked. And as it turns out it's all the third bases coach and Hamilton isn't exactly sugar coating it either.
Hamilton:
"I listened to my third base coach. That's a little too aggressive. The whole time I was watching the play I was listening. [He said], 'Nobody's at home, nobody's at home.' I was like, 'Dude, I don't want to do this. Something's going to happen.' But I listened to my coach. And how do you avoid a tag the best, by going in headfirst and get out of the way and get in there. That's what I did."

The good news is that my Chris Davis t-shirt becomes relevant again. I keep moving the thing back and forth from storage. Maybe, just maybe this time it will keep itself in the rotation of Rangers shirts.
