While not on the level of the inflammatory opinions expressed by Pittsburgh's Rashard Mendenhall , Dallas Cowboys running back Tashard Choice sent out a curious message Sunday night on his Twitter account.
It seemed Choice was unhappy that his planned television viewing for the evening had been disrupted.
"No to catch a predator tonight. Not cool cnbc," Choice wrote on his account.
Shortly thereafter, Choice realized the gravity of the situation that had caused the program to be pre-empted for news coverage. Terrorist leader Osama bin Laden had been killed by United States forces.
Choice had the good sense to understand the poor timing of his comment and offered an apology.
"My bad my tweet people osama bin laden being dead is better news,'' Choice wrote.
Choice offered additional explanation today through another Twitter post.
According to Choice, he was sad that a show other than ``To Catch a Predator'' was being televised. At that point, Choice said, he was unaware of the news of bin Laden's death.
So I guess that Tchoice thinks it's more entertaining to see guys who want to fuck 15 year olds publicly humiliated than see news of a mass murder and anti-American get murked. I'm going to have to disagree with Choice here. I think the masses will too. I don't recall Chris Hansen setting the record for Tweets on the Twatter.
